Feedback Here are some of the comments from Manley's audiences...

I was lucky enough to have been able to listen to one of your speeches recently.I found it facinating and not to over use a cliche....inspirational. I think in life people often live within self imposed limitations based on what they think they are capable of....clealry having listened to your speech there are many challenges, in areas of life that people may have never been exposed to that are there to be achieved.....you take from Shackleton's principles and bring them into the modern day.well done......would sail with you any day....consider me signed up!!!

Thanks again for yesterday, I thought your presentation was great with some really powerful messages. Also I could tell the delegates enjoyed it from the number of questions they asked at the end!
I’ve already passed your details onto another member of the team this morning, so hopefully that will come to something. I hope to work with you again in the future.
Lynn Nicholson, Barclays

"Many, many thanks for your presentation yesterday. It was truly inspiring.
Everyone said that they had enjoyed it immensely, and most importantly were able to take away some excellent advice, tools and techniques around leadership.
I look forward to meeting you again in the future and hope that you will consider delivering a further event for us - as soon as I've sorted some new dates out."
Diane Anslow, Leadership Development Manager

We produce an evaluation report for all our events and the delegates scored you very highly.

- Some fascinating insights from Manley & useful nuggets about leadership. Excellent presentation, thank you!
- Very interesting & inspiring.
- Manley's presentation was very timely as I start a new job as CEO in 3 days time. I needed a quick resume of leadership to give me a boost for Monday."
Kristie Scott-Woodham, The Work Foundation

"I had great intentions of writing a ‘proper’ letter to you to say thank you on behalf of all of us for your really outstanding talk on Friday. As ever, time slips by and I haven’t managed to get round to it; so I am afraid that a hastily typed email will have to do instead!!
We all thought your talk was superb. For us it was one of the highlights of our year and we were all very proud to be hosting you. Grafters is a relatively new business and you added a huge amount of credibility to us."
James Baker, Grafters

"Just a quick text to say, thank you for such an impressive presentation last Thursday for Thames Valley Police. It is easy to lose focus as a trainer after 6 years coaching, but your talk brought back my personal desire not to accept mediocrity in what I do. A big thank you" Andy Fenner, Thames Valley Police - Police Driving Instructor

Thanks very much for coming to speak at the Conference - you went down extremely well and have provided enormous discussion. You have a real ability to capture the audience and really engage with them - everyone was with you - which is a real skill particularly given the diversity of our audience. It was great to meet you ...
Thanks again Manley - enjoy the bank holiday.
" Sarah Rogers, Accreditation and Quality Manager, Learning and Development, Thames Valley Police

“Good evening Mr Hopkinson,
Well what a breath of fresh air you were on Wednesday 26th April at our HR conference! You had the "meerkat" effect on all of my team from Glasgow. The "meerkat" effect is when people sit up straight, concentrate, pay attention and do the long neck thing to get a better look! You have probably heard all this before and the feedback you get is no doubt amazing or else you wouldn't be doing what you do!
Loved your natural flair, gift or whatever you want to call it that you have for story telling. Loved your story and re-told it to my mum a couple of days later. On her hearing about your team's achievements, bad luck and Skippy (she has been through the same thing 3 times now) she was actually moved to tears! She asked me a couple of questions, "what happened to them where did they finish in the race?" .... "why was trout called "trout"?" .... "what other intrepid adventures has this young man been on?" .... "where did he go to school???????" ....
I wasn't able to answer these questions because, if I'm not mistaken they had the bloody cheek to cut you off in the prime of your story!!!!....which left us feeling a little short changed and slightly disgruntled.
She then asked "what else did they say at the conference....???". To be quite honest I had to tell her I could barely remember a thing anyone else said .... apart from we need to make so much more money in 2007 ....
So, any answers to the above would be greatly appreciated!!
Yours sincerely .... a slightly disgruntled, feeling short changed but hey, still inspired .... Lesley." Training Team Manager, Operational Learning & Development, Retail Division, RBS

"It was a pleasure to meet you and to hear your presentation. We've had a great deal of positive feedback - people enjoyed it tremendously. We only occasionally treat ourselves to a guest speaker and you really made the day for us." Martin Trott, Executive Officer to the Serjeant at Arms, House of Commons

"I expected no less from you!! The reports coming back to me about the weekend are that all of the customers who attended have decided to move all their business .......to BT !!
Thank you for helping to make the weekend so much fun for our guests, and our own people. All the feedback I have received has been very positive. Customers and hosts have remarked that this was truly a memorable and inspirational occasion.
The effort you both put into making our first pan European hospitality event such a success was really appreciated. Apparently the customers that attended want a repeat event every quarter!" Phil London, Marketing Communications, BT Global Services

"Everybody got a great deal from your presentation yesterday and equally as much from your enthusiasm and energy as an individual and a leader - you have certainly given them a lot of food for thought.
I am convinced that your presentation and personal style could benefit and inspire many of our young budding leaders and I am sure we will be in touch in the future for more of the same." Karl Fisher, Project Venture Barclays Bank PLC

"You went down a storm with all our Management they were enthralled with your voyage and the elements you came across. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who needed a speaker at their venue." Chris Abram, B&Q West Division Managers Conference
